Helping Small Businesses

U.S. Department of Transportation’s Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC) Southwest Region assists small disadvantaged businesses in building their capacity to bid and perform on transportation projects and professional service procurements.

We provide many services including training and advising on marketing to the Department of Transportation, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification, short-term lending and bonding assistance, and more.

The California Asian Chamber of Commerce is a recipient of grant funds from the US Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization ( OSDBU) to host the Southwest Region Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC).  The mission of the SBTRC is to provide technical assistance services to the small and disadvantaged community to increase the number of small businesses that are prepared to compete for and enter into transportation related contracts.
